Restore Life In Sword of The Sea On Nintendo Switch 2

Fictions and Giant Squid have announced that their atmospheric adventure Sword of the Sea is out now on Nintendo Switch 2.

You play as a Wraith who wields the Hoversword and must set out to restore life to a lost ocean through “an otherworldly journey built around exhilarating movement, breathtaking environments and an evocative original score.”

Your unique traversal tool combines the fluid movement of surfing with the tricks and momentum of skateboarding and snowboarding. This will let you carve across waves of sand and water, uncover hidden areas, navigate ancient ruins and master platforming challenges as you explore a world gradually transformed by the return of the sea.

“Created by Giant Squid studio head Matt Nava, whose previous work includes ABZÛ, The Pathless and art direction on Journey, Sword of the Sea delivers an atmospheric adventure where exploration and movement are at the heart of the experience,” the publisher explains in a press release.

“From vast desert landscapes to shimmering oceans, every environment is brought to life through striking visual design, dynamic wave physics and a powerful soundtrack composed by Grammy Award-winning composer Austin Wintory.”

Sword of the Sea is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.
