Indie World: Explore the Necropolis on Your Hoversword in Sword of the Sea

It launches tomorrow on Nintendo Switch 2!

Crafted by Fictions and Giant Squid, who worked on games like ABZÛ, The Pathless, and Journey, Sword of the Sea is “an atmosperic surfing adventure game.” It’s all about the sand and the waves in this one, and a heaping dose of style for good measure. Players will utilize the unique transport/weapon that is the Hoversword “across deserts, glaciers and shimmering seas as you explore the mysterious Necropolis and set out to restore a lost ocean.” There’s a great sense of speed and fluid action throughout Sword of the Sea, which is launching very soon: tomorrow! That’s October 29, 2026. If you’re interested, you won’t have to wait long to play.
