Capcom has announced that its action game Onimusha: Way of the Swordhas sold over one million units worldwide on launch day, bringing the series to more than ten million units sold.

Musashi, a samurai who finds himself wielding the Oni Gauntlet. His goal is to slay demons known as Gemma, fiends from the lowest depths of Hell, manifested as Malice.

The Oni Gauntlet remains a core mechanic, allowing players to absorb enemy souls mid-battle to restore health and unleash devastating special moves. Gameplay footage showcases the combat system, highlighting one-on-one duels, counterattacks, and environmental interactions that add additional layers to encounters.
